Task of automatically extracting structured information from unstructured or semi-structured documents (01 Intro s.9). Subtasks:
- Named Entity Recognition and Disambiguation - “The parliament in Berlin has decided…” (which parliament? which Berlin?).
- Relationship Extraction - PERSON works for ORGANIZATION; PERSON located in LOCATION.
- Fact Extraction - CITY has population NUMBER; COMPANY has turnover NUMBER [Unit].
