Getting Labels

(s.373) Text classification relies on large datasets of labeled examples. Two main ways:

Metadata sometimes tell exactly what we want to know: did the Senator vote for the bill? how many stars did the reviewer give? was the request for free pizza accepted?
Otherwise labels must be annotated, by experts or novice “crowdworkers”. Annotations are validated with Concept - Inter-Annotator Agreement.
