WordNet and Synsets

(s.370) Senses are properties of lemmas (uninflected word forms) and are grouped into synsets (synonym sets). These synsets are collected in WordNet. Example: appeal^2, invoke form one synset (“request earnestly”); attract, appeal^3 another (“be attractive to”).
